California has extended a warm welcome to refugees and immigrants. It is recognized as the state resettling the greatest number of refugees in the United States in 2016, according to the Pew Research Center. Over the past 15 years, the State Department shows that California has welcomed 112,000 refugees. The many youth among this group are particularly susceptible to a vast range of difficulties including identity crises, peer pressure, questions of self-worth, separation/loss, and parental conflict.
We will not thrive as a community unless we meet the needs of the most vulnerable among us. ARTogether invites community leaders, organizers, local businesses, and other non profit organizations to engage with its activities. If you are looking for a way to help our refugee and immigrant communities, or can offer access to a facility, a classroom, park or community center, we would love to work with you. Please write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Additionally, we encourage all to help us spread the word about our workshops and services. If you are interested in becoming an ambassador for ARTogether, our informational brochure is located below. Feel free to post that in public and community spaces to help us grow our cause.
There are many different ways to show your support for our refugee and immigrant community as well as our local artists. We offer a wide range of sponsorship opportunities where you can demonstrate your support for local arts, where the seeds of creativity and artistic discovery are planted.
You can sponsor a student, an event, a workshop or a project at ARTogether. Please contact us at email@example.com for more information about our sponsorship programs or see our sponsorship brochure below.
